On Wednesday 23rd November 2016, Elaine Kiely, the Postgraduate Careers Advisor from the Cooperative Education and Careers Division within UL gave a workshop to AHSS Postgraduate Researchers.  Elaine explained some of the key factors in career decision-making and the importance for students to begin to develop career plans.  The workshop was organised to assist postgraduates in recognising and evaluating skills and competencies they have in addition to research capabilities.  The talk was organised by Dr. Niamh Lenahan, AHSS Graduate Research Centre.  The event was well attended and other workshops on career information will be organised in the New Year.
